Elementary School

What is SEL?

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in our schools is an educational approach that teaches students skills for managing emotions, setting goals, showing empathy, maintaining positive relationships, and making responsible decisions. It is integrated into school curricula to improve academic outcomes, enhance well-being, and foster a safe school climate.

Focusing & Staying Calm

Breathing exercises are vital SEL tools that help students manage emotions, reduce stress, and improve focus by calming their nervous systems.
