Reduced Price Meal Costs Eliminated
The School Nutrition Program eliminated costs to families for reduced-price meals. This means that if you qualify for “reduced-price meals,” your child will be able to receive a meal completely free of charge at no extra cost to you. Previously, there was a small price of $0.30 to $0.40 per breakfast/lunch meal. That cost will no longer apply.
