Free and Reduced Meals

At the Sheboygan Area School District, it is important that every student has the nutrition they need to stay focused throughout the school day. Students in the District may qualify for free and reduced meals or Foodshare benefits! Learn more about these opportunities for District families and how you can apply.

Permission to Share Information for Additional Benefits

Complete the Sharing Information form below if you wish to receive benefits/discounts on other SASD programs.

How do I apply for Foodshare benefits?

All children in households receiving benefits from the Wisconsin Foodshare program are eligible to receive free meals. If you apply for Foodshare through Sheboygan County, you may automatically receive free meals from the Sheboygan Area School District. Reduced Price Meal Costs Eliminated

The School Nutrition Program eliminated costs to families for reduced-price meals. This means that if you qualify for “reduced-price meals,” your child will be able to receive a meal completely free of charge at no extra cost to you. Previously, there was a small price of $0.30 to $0.40 per breakfast/lunch meal. That cost will no longer apply.
