Urban Middle School takes pride in its counseling program. Services offered include, individual and group counseling in the areas of personal/social concerns, academics, and career exploration. In addition, the counselor can assist in referral to community agencies. Students wishing to see a counselor should visit the Counseling Office located in Student Services. Parents should also feel free to contact their child's counselor if they have any questions.
Xello is an interactive career guide used by SASD to help prepare our students for their future. Xello uses various assessments to match students with the best fitting careers. From here, students are able to explore in-depth occupational profiles about a variety of careers.
