The Sheboygan Area School District Has Great Choices for Your Family

One of the strengths of the Sheboygan Area School District is the variety of opportunities and choices offered to families, especially when it comes to school choice. Every student is guaranteed enrollment in their neighborhood school, which is determined by the student’s home address. Families also have the opportunity to apply to attend a different school in the district.

But no matter which location you choose, you will find all our schools offer a comprehensive education built on innovation, strong communication, and whole-student well being. Every school educates a little differently, making them each unique, which in turn offers you the chance to tailor an education path that fits your child’s needs and goals.

We celebrate the diversity of our community and our schools reflect that. Some offer very specialized learning, such as the Dual Language Program at Sheridan Elementary School which offers academic instruction in both English and Spanish. Students may begin the Dual Language Program in 4-year-old kindergarten (4K) at the Early Learning Center and continue on through middle school at Horace Mann. The Sheboygan Area School District also offers eight tuition-free public charter school options for families seeking schools that are unique in design and focus.
