I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where I majored in Spanish and minored in English as a Second Language. I am certified to teach pre-kindergarten through grade 12. I also hold a Master's degree in Educational Technology from Marian University.
I began working for the Sheboygan Area School District in 2004. I have taught grade levels, ranging from elementary to high school and in the content areas of Spanish and Multilingual Learners(ML).
I enjoy traveling and experiencing culture. I have taken students to Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Mexico to experience language and culture first hand.
I enjoy cooking, gardening, preserving foods, and spending time outdoors (only in summer). I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well.
