On Thursday June 1st 8-1 students had the opportunity to visit both the John Michael Kohler Arts Center and the Arts Preserve. On their trip students were able to interact with multiple exhibits and arts center staff to explore the concepts of identity and belonging. Students were able to commemorate this experience with a pewter casting project in which they were able to create a symbol to represent themselves and their identity. The 8-1 students had an excellent day and are so grateful for the opportunity to visit such an engaging space in our community.
