I am pleased to welcome you to the world of science at North High School. All people are born scientists. I want to spark student's curiosity and instill lifelong skills for asking questions and seeking out answers and solutions. My lifelong interest in health and nutrition led me to major in biochemistry at UW- Madison. I've taught chemistry and biology at North High for over 20 years. Each year there are more exciting technologies to use in the lab, and more interesting discoveries in fields such as material science and medicine to talk about in class. I enjoy cooking for friends, sailing, camping and outdoor activities. All of which test my scientific discovery skills!
