The Sheboygan Area School District (SASD), Lakeshore Technical College (LTC), and Lakeland University (LU) are leading the nation with the first program that will allow high school students to earn an associate degree at their high school and complete a bachelor’s degree in just two years following graduation.

The Sheboygan Area School District offers a Dual Language program for students starting in 4-year-old kindergarten or 5-year-old kindergarten. The Dual Language classes include native-Spanish speakers and native-English speakers, who receive content-based instruction in both Spanish and English.
To ensure students acquire sufficient English proficiency and to enable them to function successfully in the classroom and society the EL curriculum is content-based and reflect mainstreamed curriculum whenever possible, and students are placed at age-appropriate grade levels regardless of English language proficiency.

INCubatorEDU is a new business program that started in 2019 within the Sheboygan Area School District. It allows high school students the opportunity to develop their own real-world services and products that could potentially garner thousands of dollars in funding.

The goal of the Music Education program at the Sheboygan Area School District is to empower students to participate, understand, and appreciate music throughout their lives. We do this by engaging students in comprehensive music education through performing, creating, and responding, which in turn nurtures skills in students that fosters knowledge and affective connections to music, themselves, and the world.

Each year, North and South High School students design, build and sell a home. Students do as much of the work as possible under our program advisor's direction and work alongside our project partners. Students from each high school spend about two class periods on the job site during the school day.
