The goal of the dual language program is to expose students to both English and Spanish with the future goal of becoming bilingual and biliterate. Materials and activities reflect and support the various cultures and languages of program participants. Mondays and Tuesdays instruction is in English while Thursdays and Fridays instruction is in Spanish. Students are provided with a rich language environment to develop skills in both English and Spanish. No prior language experience is required. As with the other regular 4K classroom, close ties between families and the program is a major goal.
