Mrs. Ribich works with students, teachers, administrators, and other personnel at Horace Mann to enhance literacy throughout the entire school. She teaches reading classes at all three grade levels. In addition, the Literacy Specialist teaches WIN Lexia lessons to students throughout the school building. Mrs. Ribich meets frequently with grade level teams as well as individually with teachers to collaborate for student instruction. Lexia PowerUp is the WIN reading intervention program for all students at Horace Mann Middle School.
The expectation for students is to work in the program for the amount of time assigned to them as their weekly minutes goal AND work towards gaining units reflecting expected learning.
To pass, a student must have at least 100 minutes and 20 units gained a week.
Students should log into PowerUp through their Clever log in account.
