I graduated from UW-Oshkosh in 2003 with a dual degree in both Elementary and Special Education. Previously, I taught Special Education for 3 years in Grafton, then 1 year of Special Education and 2 years of regular education in Appleton, then 8 years of Special Education in Manitowoc before coming to SLA for the 2017/2018 year. I love teaching at SLA. I fully believe in and support the virtues as well as service learning. This is truly a special place to work and learn.
I live in Sheboygan with my wonderful husband and our energetic, fun-loving daughter. Together we enjoy camping, being outdoors, and playing board games. I love watching my daughter participate in competitive dance. I recently learned to crochet and I enjoy reading. I love to travel and have been fortunate to visit some magnificent places. Some of my favorites have been riding on a mule to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, living in Greece for a month, seeing Niagara Falls, and standing where the Berlin Wall once stood.
