Fourth and fifth-grade students who have strong math abilities are recommended by the classroom teacher to participate in Math Olympiad. Students apply learned skills to more complex math problems and practice higher-level thinking skills. Each month they are given five multi-step problems to solve in a limited amount of time. At the end of five months, medals and ribbons are awarded. |
