Rainbow Kids Winter/Spring Program will be starting on January 20, 2022. It is being held at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Plymouth on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. This program is for families that can use support dealing with loss (death, divorce, separation, incarceration, abandonment, deployment, adoption). Lakeland University will be hosting Elementastic, an after-school science program, here at LCA. Students will learn about the wonders of STEM through guided lessons and hands-on activities. There will be two levels, K-2nd and 3-5th, offered with different experiments for each level. The program involves four sessions and will meet on January 19, January 26, February 2, February 16 from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Registration is $50 per child and parents can register on: https://lakeland.edu/elementastic
Parents, please be sure to send a hat, mittens, snow pants and boots each day with your child. Our policy is to go outside for recess when the "real feel" temperatures are -5 degrees or higher.
Also, just a reminder that LCA follows the Sheboygan Area School District's school delays or cancellations due to weather. Notifications will be available on WHBL, TMJ4, and the SASD and LCA websites. If SASD cancels or delays school, we also cancel or delay.
Covid-19 testing will soon be available free of charge at the majority of school locations in the Sheboygan Area School District and is available to all students, staff, and families. Enhanced mitigation efforts will begin Monday, October 11th requiring symptomatic students to have a negative COVID-19 test to return to school or students will remain home for 10 days.
