The Shake Out Celebration of the Decade!

In honor of Lake Country Academy's 20th Anniversary

SHAKE OUT was a huge success! What an incredible show of support on Saturday night! While we are still processing final donations and outstanding bills, we are estimating nearly $65,000 in net proceeds! What a fantastic night we had!
Some of the highlights of the evening were:

• Jessie Edwards and Ben Igowsky, our emcees, opened with a surprising "Best Dressed" stand-off between Mr. D and Mr. Schoenauer.
• LCA's version of "Weekend Update" featuring many staff, students and LCA parents.
• Speakeasy Wine & Whiskey Pull - Everyone was a winner!
• A Mystery Jewelry Box raffle winner went home with a 72" strand of pearls.
• Exceptional class projects and other exciting live auction items were offered including Christopher Garden's Sip & Paint Party, Packer Tickets, Family Weekend Trip to Minneapolis, 2 Night Stay at Pines Dunes Cabin, Party for 30 at Longhouse Axe Bar, Express Pick-up, and of course, an adorable puppy!
• An unbelievable, abundant assortment of silent auction items!
• A heartwarming tribute to Mr. D as we acknowledged his plans to leave LCA after this school year and start a new chapter in his life.
• Our board president, Mr. Kevin Delray, announced the exciting appointment of Mrs. Katie Beine as our new principal beginning July 1, 2022.
• And so much more! 

The support for the event was overwhelming and indicative of how LCA families and community members work tirelessly together to meet our mission to bring the best education possible to our students. For those who donated, attended, purchased auction items, volunteered and solicited donations, thank you! On behalf of the committee, staff and board, we are so grateful for your support.

Planning for an event like this takes months of preparation, numerous evening meetings, and extra effort to add just the right touches to make the night special. If you have a chance to thank them personally, please do! They have been an incredible team! This year, proceeds from Shake Out will be use to purchase mounted projectors in our DI classrooms, playground enhancements, and materials and curriculum to build our STEM program. Thank you for your strong show of support for Shake Out 2022!
