South High School recently had another Hands on Healthcare experience, provided by Bellin College. This immersive experience is specifically for students in the Sheboygan Area School District who are interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field. 

Students spend their time rotating through stations, practicing skills and techniques guided by Bellin College students, faculty, SASD staff, and healthcare professionals. Twice a month, students get experience in CPR, wound care, ultrasounds, and the Anatomage Table, which is a technologically advanced anatomy visualization system. It is both a virtual library of human and animal cadavers, as well as a clinical diagnostic tool by visualization of any Medical CT, CBCT, or MRI scan. The students have shared that they appreciate the hands-on experience, and it is a great way to get them excited about their future careers!
