In November, the Sheboygan Area School District put out a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purchase and development of a 26-acre piece of land between Saemann Avenue, Geele Avenue, and North Taylor Drive. This parcel is east of the Field of Dreams sports fields and is currently undeveloped.

The Sheboygan Area School District received three submissions in response to the Request for Proposal (RFP). Two proposal teams were invited to give public presentations to the Board of Education at the Committee of the Whole meeting on February 8, 2022. 

On March 8, 2022, the Board of Education authorized the administration to pursue a sales offer from Froedtert Health and Medical College of Wisconsin.

Once the Sheboygan Area School District receives the official offer, a public input session will be scheduled to share and discuss the purchase agreement and the use of the land.
