Sign Up for Summer School

April 6, 2021

Families are invited to register their children for Sheboygan Area School District’s (SASD) free summer school program. Online registration opens at 4:00 p.m. on April 6 in Skyward Family Access. This summer’s program offers over 20 new Summer Adventure classes and over 85 different classes in total ranging from academics to the arts and everything in between for students entering 4K through 12th grade.

Students entering four-year-old kindergarten (4K) can sign up for Tyke Tyme Junior, which includes games, crafts, outdoor activities, and more at the Early Learning Center.

Students can sign up for Tyke Tyme (Kindergarten - 1st Grade) or Tyke Tyme II (Kindergarten - 2nd Grade) offered at elementary schools throughout the district, where students participate in games, crafts, outdoor activities, and more.

For elementary school students, Summer Adventures offers something for everyone with classes like Star Wars, Soccer, Slime, Harry Potter, Unicorns, Fishing, Chinese, Rocketry, Build a Fairy Garden, and Coding. Courses are offered at elementary schools throughout the district.

Middle and high school students also have options like Cement Pavers, ESports, Junk Journals, Chinese Live Forever Project, a variety of different sports offerings, and cooking, along with our popular band and orchestra classes.

Early registration is important because class sizes are limited and will fill quickly. All summer school courses are free. Check out the Summer School brochure for a complete listing. Summer School booklets will be distributed at elementary schools this week. The booklet can also be viewed on the Sheboygan Area School District website at

Summer swimming lessons are offered free of charge through the Community Recreation Department as part of the SASD summer school program. Check the Rec Department website at for more information.

Please note that academic courses are offered based on teacher or school counselor recommendation and are not a part of the online registration system.
