The Sheboygan Area School District is proud to announce that Brian Sommersberger, Art Teacher at South High School, has been selected as one of only 100 recipients of the Herb Kohl Teacher Fellowship. These distinguished educators are being recognized for their exceptional leadership, dedication to students, and commitment to educational excellence.

Teachers will receive Fellowship awards of $6,000 in honor of their ability to inspire a love of learning, motivate students, and lead both inside and outside the classroom. Each recipient’s school will also receive a matching grant of $6,000 to further support student learning and school initiatives.
