Speech and Language

As a speech-language pathologist in the schools, I am responsible for evaluating and treating students with a variety of communication disorders that may affect classroom activities, literacy, social interaction and educational performance of a student. Areas may include articulation delays, cognitive impairments, social or pragmatic language disorders, expressive & receptive language delays, fluency, and voice disorders.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from Indiana University, a master’s degree from UW-River Falls, the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and a certification from the Department of Instruction.
