The Community Recreation Department offers a variety of fitness classes for adults.

Important information about our fitness classes:

  • Sheboygan Area School District residents residing in Cleveland, Centerville, and Mosel add $3.00 to the listed fee.
  • Middle & High School students may register at half the listed fee.
  • No children are allowed in the gym while fitness classes are being conducted.

Summer 2022 Registration will open on Thursday, May 26.

*Online will open at 8:00am.

*Office staff will start processing all previously dropped off registrations at 8:00am.

*Phone registrations will be taken at Noon.

Yoga for Seniors or anyone who could benefit from chair based yoga.  Gentle yoga poses and breathing techniques are practiced to feel calm, comfortable and refreshed.  Beginners always welcome.

An advanced, faster paced stop/cardio class that will keep you moving.  This class will offer a total body workout consisting of athletic and rhythmic step moves, athletic cardio moves, as well as strength training legs, arms, and abs.  Participants will get a great full body workout all within an hour.

Want to put some spring back into your step and learn a fun way to burn calories? This class is for you! Learn step moves that are guaranteed to get the heart pumping and burn unwanted calories set to energizing music that keeps you moving for a full 45 minutes.

TNT is a personal exercise program that uses dumbbells, dyna bands, and your own body weight to get a full body workout.  Personal because you choose the weight that is appropriate for you to start to build strength.  Use TNT as a preventative to age related conditions such as falling/balance issues, osteoporosis (build strong bones), improves mental health and mood, lowers risk of heart disease and diabetes--gives you an overall better quality of life.
