Tennis lessons for ages 2 to 14

The Rec Department offers two types of tennis lessons during the summer: Parent/child or youth classes. For all classes, please remember the following:

  • Bring your own water bottle. 
  • Dress for the weather. 
  • No equipment needed, but you are welcome to use your own if you would like.
  • Cancellation line in case of bad weather 208-5805

With supervision of our instructor, one parent and one child (2-4 years old) will have fun learning the basics of tennis as a team. A great opportunity to spend quality time as a family while learning about tennis.

Using smaller rackets, lighter balls and lower nets on a smaller court, children are introduced to the game of tennis in a fun and rewarding way. All equipment is provided by the Rec Dept. Geared for ages 5 and 6 years old

A player who is beginning to play the game, to one who has limited experience and is working primarily on getting the ball over the net with consistency.

Players will work on serving and continue to develop their forehand, backhand, volleys, and rallying.
