Hola! Welcome to my webpage. My name is Kristin Flynn. I am the North High School World Languages Department chairperson and a Spanish teacher. At NHS we offer five levels of high school Spanish including an option for college credit. I am proud to teach at NHS because we strive to provide a rigorous education within a culture that encourages all students to engage in their learning. We have a lot of fun doing it.
I have taught Spanish for many years. I received a BSE from UW-Oshkosh and an MS from UW-Milwaukee. I have also studied at the Cuauhnahuac Spanish Language Institute in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Some of my most rewarding teaching and learning experiences have occurred while traveling with students to Spanish speaking countries. Over the years I have been fortunate enough to take students to Peru, Costa Rica, Spain, Mexico, Panama, and Honduras.
I am married to David, who is the high school Spanish teacher in the Cedar Grove-Belgium School District. During our summers, we travel abroad with our students. My daughter, Helen, attends South High School. As a family, we love playing sports, seeing live music and traveling.
I look forward to meeting new students and getting to know their families. Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.
