Resource Officer Israel Deutsch

I always wanted to become a Police Officer since Elementary School. After graduating from the Rice Lake High School I moved to Green Bay where I received an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice.

My first job was with the DNR as a Park Ranger in Crivitz Wisconsin. Shortly After I was hired by the Hobart/Lawrence Police Department. After working there for 8 years I moved to Sheboygan.

I really enjoy the work as a Police Officer. Before becoming the Farnsworth SRO I was the "beat officer" for the southside of the City. I'm also part of the Honor Guard and the only Drug Recognition Expert for the City of Sheboygan.

On my time off I like to spend time with my family. I also own a business where I make art, crafts and gifts from used fire hose and most recently we purchased a commercial property in Sheboygan Falls. My wife and I converted the apartment in that building into an AIRBNB rental property.

I'm the vice president for the Lakeshore Fraternal Order of Police and a social media specialist for the Wisconsin Concerns of Police Survivors charity.

In school I was horrible at Math and English but I loved history and tech class. I always wanted to learn how to play a musical instrument, more specifically the bugle but never was gifted enough to do that.

I look forward to building new relationships at Farnsworth Middle School.

Crime Stoppers’ New Anonymous “Text-a-Tip” and “Web Tip” Reporting for Schools

Sheboygan Countywide Crime Stoppers now offers students, parents, and school staff the opportunity to securely and anonymously report school-specific crimes or safety concerns (including bullying) to the police and their School Resource Officer (SRO). Offered community-wide, this program also allows for specific tips to be directed to the SRO’s at Farnsworth, Horace Mann, and Urban Middle Schools, as well as North and South High Schools.

For general information, visit Sheboygan Countywide Crime Stoppers.

To submit an online tip, fill in as much information as possible.

To text a tip, text “SCTIP” + your message, beginning with your school name, to 274637 (CRIMES).

For example, if I wanted to text a tip to the SRO at Farnsworth about a student with drugs, I would text: “SCTIP farnsworth John Doe has drugs in his locker” to 274637.

Here is the list of participating schools:

  • Farnsworth Middle School “farnsworth”
  • Horace Mann Middle School “horacemann”
  • Urban Middle School “urban”
  • North High School “north”
  • South High School “south”

Together, these reporting options, along with the "Quick 50 Program", provide students, parents, and school staff the opportunity to overcome two key elements that inhibit community involvement in reporting crimes: fear and apathy. Crime Stoppers…we want your information, NOT your name.
