At tonight’s Board of Education meeting, our administrative team presented a plan for Farnsworth, Horace Mann, and Urban Middle Schools as well as North and South High Schools to transition to in-person learning four days a week beginning Monday, February 22. Wednesdays will remain an asynchronous learning day for hybrid students and also allows teachers time to work with virtual students.
Parents wishing to change their child's enrollment status (hybrid or virtual) for the second semester must complete this form by 5 pm on Tuesday, January 12.
On December 22, the SASD Board of Education and administration set our return to in-person learning on Monday, January 11 in the Hybrid model. We will continue to offer a virtual learning option for families that prefer to continue in the virtual model. Please read this important letter.

The Sheboygan Area School District has made the decision to temporarily transition all schools to an online learning model. The last day of in-person learning for students will be Friday, October 16. Monday, October 19 will be a non-school day for all students, and virtual learning across the district will start on Tuesday, October 20.

The Farnsworth Middle School International Club is devoted to learning about the cultures and customs of the world while providing a social outlet for students who share these interests. Sometimes those interests provide batteries that support children in school on the other side of the world.
