Student Council is a service organization. Students work together to run events within the building (such as Activity Nights), fundraise for various causes, and work toward building a great school environment.
The Farnsworth Middle School Student Council is composed of a general assembly, the Executive Board, and advisors. We help our members develop leadership skills and an understanding of government through projects and activities that benefit the school as well as the community. Each year we expand and improve our activities for the school and the community.
Our Executive Board is composed of 7th and 8th grade students. It comprises four officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer) and several Board Members. The officers are elected by the student body and the board members are appointed.
