Farnsworth students do great things every day. We want to make sure each student know their own "great things" are seen and appreciated.
Students who show positive behavior throughout the day are recognized with Panther Points of Pride, which they can accumulate to spend in the School Store. Each month a number of students are recognized through the Student of the Month awards. Each quarter students who have shown good citizenship are rewarded with a special activity, like Bingo, bowling, or being invited to enjoy a performance such as a hypnotist or improv comedy team. At the end of the year, students who have shown exceptional academic achievement or growth are recognized with awards.
One way we celebrate our students is through our "Student of the Month" awards. This award recognizes students who have stood out during each month for their achievement, good attitude, leadership, or other accomplishments. "PBIS Student of the Month" awards recognize students who have demonstrated exemplary positive behavior during the month.
