HOSA-Future Health Professionals is a student-led organization providing students the opportunity to make realistic career choices and seek successful employment in the healthcare field, encourage individual and group achievement, develop an understanding of current healthcare issues, environmental concerns, and survival needs of the community, the nation and the world, and encourage involvement in local, state and national health care and education projects.
NHS HOSA activities include: sponsoring HOSA week, making Valentine's Day cards for a local long-term care facility, making tie blankets for Project Linus, educating youth and the public on the dangers of fentanyl and preventing overdosing, advocating for Narcan training for school staff, volunteering at the community cafe and servicing meals and much more.
