Northern Lights is the auditioned show choir at North High. This vocal ensemble performs show choir (song and dance) numbers, vocal jazz, madrigals, and carols around the Sheboygan Community. Featured Performances throughout the year include Winter Tours, Singing Valentines, Solo and Ensemble, and Winter and Spring Concerts.
Students audition in May to become members of this group the following school year. Students interested in singing with Northern Lights are encouraged to participate in a choir prior to auditioning to build valuable singing skills.
Northern Lights is a class as well as an activity with outside of school performance obligations. Students must be involved in another performing ensemble at North (choir, band, orchestra) in order to take this class.
