Academic and Career Planning, or ACP, is a student-driven, adult-supported process in which students create and cultivate their own unique and information-based visions for post-secondary success, obtained through self-exploration, career exploration, and the development of career management and planning skills.
Health Care is a continually growing profession, especially in Sheboygan County. With the need for health care providers and the interest of students in entering the health care field, South High School has partnered with local schools, health care organizations and stakeholders to ensure that students at South High School are prepared to enter college with an advantage and prepare themselves for a future in the health care profession.
South High School has developed a partnership with Acuity to provide students with an interest in Information Technology the opportunity to take college-level IT courses while in high school. South High offers IT courses through Lakeland College, as well as courses in the Project Lead the Way Computer Science program.
